Update Synaptics firmware in Ochno O-PC-4 |

For update of the internal firmware of the Synaptics module in Ochno O-PC-4 it needs to be done with the VmmDPTool64 (it can’t be updated using Ochno Management Console or Ochno Operated. VmmDPTool64 it’s free to download and available in the Microsoft Store. |

Download the firmware by clicking on the links below, please note that there are two different versions at the moment. Save it to your laptop.
- Firmware for MacBook M4 PRO / Max in daisy chain / Yealink A40 with CTP25 -
- Firmware for Cisco Room Bar, Room Bar Pro and Cisco EQ codec -
Procedure:
1. Connect Ochno O-PC-4 with a USB-C cable and switch in the laptop to the connected USB-C port.
2. Start VmmDPTool64
Important - When starting the program you must start it as “run as administartor”
It should look like below when the program has started.
Go to the tab “Flash” in the right corner.
Click on “Load to FLASH”
Select the file that you downloaded.
Click “open” - the update will start right away. It takes less than 1 minute to do the update. After the update is done, power cycle the unit and all is done.
